5.9.2014 : Project reports

Technical project reports are now available at the SNAPS website. A total of seven reports have been published on different parts of the project. They contain details on the work done, as well as the functionality of services and products developed within SNAPS. The reports are found here.

Reports have also been written by individual partners on project components specific to their area. Furthermore, papers on SNAPS have been published in  a few different conference proceedings.

21.2.2014 : Presentations from final conference now available on website

Video footages of  presentations at the SNAPS final conference are now  available on this website, along with the slides. The material is found here.

The SNAPS project focuses on snow and avalanche services for transport infrastructure in selected areas within the Northern Periphery in Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The main partners in SNAPS are institutes that have expertise in snow, ice and avalanche science. Transport authorities and local authorities participate as associated partners.

In the SNAPS project the main partners are public and public-like institutes and universities with expert knowledge on snow and avalanches. The main partners develope services for transport authorities who are associated partners in SNAPS along with municipalities and a few other institutes.
